Second Annual Diversity Resume Review & Interviewing Workshop - April 1, 2015
  • Organized by OUTLaw, law students from all diverse backgrounds were paired with volunteer attorneys with similar diverse backgrounds to review each student's resume and to discuss job application and interviewing techniques.
  • The program was sponsored by and featured attorneys from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP and Baker Botts, L.L.P., and included additional attorneys from Norton Rose Fulbright, Haynes & Boone, Jackson Walker, L.L.P., and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP.
Diversity & Inclusivity in the Legal Profession - November 11, 2014
  • In a collaborative event with the Hispanic, Asian-American, and Black law student organizations, special guest speakers discussed the benefits and challenges facing lawyers from diverse backgrounds and shared their personal experiences in the profession. Panelists included:

 "Legality of Unions" Marriage Debate - September 12, 2012
  • The Federalist Society and OUTlaw present a legal debate on marital rights for same-sex couples.
    • OUTlaw was represented Kimmie Selinger, an associate with Ikard Wynne LLP in Austin, and spoke on behalf of Equality Texas. 
    • The Federalist Society was represented by Dr. Robin Fretwell Wilson, a professor from Washington and Lee University.
